Hello, my name is Matt and I am a therapist at Step Above Counseling Services. I have been in the profession of Social Work for over 14 years and plan to become a fully licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) this year. My experience includes individual, group and family therapy with both adults and adolescents. I work from a strength based approach and seek to aid clients in developing an individualized skillset to address life's daily challenges, both large and small. Respect for the individual and meeting them where they are in life is of paramount importance to me and I strive to foster a therapeutic environment of openness and support. I am very passionate about the services I provide and my many years of experience has only further increased my desire to continue to grow and improve as a therapist.
